We live in a time of growing disconnection. Polarization, digital acceleration, and the erosion of shared spaces are reshaping how young people experience belonging, identity, and participation. In many contexts, the social fabric that once held communities together is quietly fraying — and the tools we have to respond are often technical, when what is needed is relational.

Pedagogies of Togetherness is a body of work that takes a different starting point: that togetherness is not a given, but something that can be practiced, cultivated, and learned. That presence — in one's own body, and in relation to others — is the foundation from which genuine agency and connection can grow.

Born out of ten years of practice and research at the intersection of social arts, Social Presencing Theater, and awareness-based design, these pedagogies have been developed and tested across schools, universities, and community settings in multiple countries. The result is an open, evolving curriculum of 15 embodied and co-creative practices, designed to be adapted and contributed to — not simply applied.

At its core, the work develops three capacities: Embodied Presence, Relational Awareness, and Relational Creativity. Together, these open up new ways of learning and being together — particularly meaningful for young people aged 15–25, and for the educators and facilitators who work alongside them.
